Originally from British Columbia, Canada, Richard trained at Canada’s National Ballet School and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. He had the opportunity to perform with the National Ballet of Canada numerous times including the world premiere of John Alleyne’s Tristan and Isolde and achieved his advanced certification in the Cecchetti method of ballet. Other career highlights have included productions of: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Promises, Promises, Singin’ in the Rain, Sweet Charity, Guys and Dolls, Beauty and the Beast, Jean Ann Ryan Productions, Royal Caribbean Productions (including Dancing with the Stars’ Louis Van Amstel’s production of Invitation to Dance), Albany Berkshire Ballet, Sarah Berges Contemporary Dance, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Dance Theatre Northwest, Galan Entertainment’s Tango Buenos Aires and the APEC Summit in Vladivostok, Russia. He frequently teaches all over the United States and Canada.
Rachel Coopes received her BA in Dance from Western Michigan University, and is currently located in Los Angeles. She has appeared in numerous tv shows, films, commercials, theatre productions, music videos, and televised programs, including 'A Christmas Story, Live!' on FOX with Maya Rudolph. On top of performing, Rachel also has many years of experience with teaching and choreography; while she has a love for story-driven pieces and showmanship, she is also extremely passionate and knowledgeable regarding kinesiology and how it pertains to dance technique.
Lauren grew up in the world of competitive dance and moved to Los Angeles shortly after high school graduation to pursue a professional career in dance. After attending a scholarship program at Millennium Dance Complex and completing a work study program at Edge Performing Arts Center, she was signed with Go 2 Talent Agency. She has since danced for The World Expo in Shanghai and traveled the world dancing with Holland America Cruise lines. Lauren has worked for successful artists such as; Beyonce, Cher Loyd, Madonna, Nike and Walk The Moon. To accompany her prolific career in dance, she has been adjudicating and choreographing internationally for over 8 years. Lauren has just returned from Australia, where she spent 8 months performing with Velvet Rope Entertainment Company, as well as teaching at world renowned Mad Dance House and other studios in Brisbane. She currently lives in Chicago, teaching at professional studios The PuzzleBox, and Visceral Dance Center.
